In 2021, I found myself facing a blank screen, wondering how to turn numbers and math lessons into an adventure for children.

Educational illustration is a unique journey. It requires turning abstract concepts into friendly characters, vibrant shapes, and warm scenarios that spark a child's curiosity.

There were days of endless sketching, erasing, and adjusting colors until every expression felt just right. You want the child who opens that textbook to feel seen, welcomed, and eager to learn.

Seeing these final illustrations come to life for Editorial Santillana in Peru reminded me why I fell in love with drawing decades ago.

When art meets education, every challenge turns into a happy ending, knowing that somewhere a child is smiling while learning.
